What this is
A free tool that reads public Fantasy Premier League data and suggests what to do with your squad. It is a personal project, not a company, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any club.
The advice is an estimate
Every number here is a projection of what is likely, not a statement about what will happen. Footballers get injured in the warm-up, managers rotate without warning, and the FPL Pirate will be confidently wrong on a regular basis - it keeps score of exactly that, in public, on your own squad page.
Decisions about your team are yours. Nothing here should be treated as advice about betting, and none of it is financial advice of any kind.
Betting odds
Where bookmakers have priced a match, their published odds are used as a measure of how hard a fixture is. That is all they are used for. The app does not take bets, place bets, link to bookmakers, or encourage gambling.
What is asked of you
- Use it for your own squad and your own leagues.
- Do not hammer it. The app sits in front of a public API that other people rely on, and requests are rate limited so that heavy use by one person does not break it for everybody.
- Do not attempt to sign in as somebody else, or to write records against a squad that is not yours.
No guarantees about it working
It depends on an API the Premier League publishes but does not document or promise, and it runs on free hosting that sleeps when idle. It may be slow, it may be down, and it may stop working entirely if that API changes. It is provided as it is, with no warranty, and it may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Your account
Signing in is optional and can be undone at any time. Delete your account from the account page and everything held about you goes with it - see the privacy page for exactly what that covers.
